It probably goes without saying, but one of our favorite sneakers out is the adidas NMD. The NMD has turned out to be a pretty versatile sneaker, but the idea that simplicity is key seems to be the driving factor behind it's success. Since the silhouette itself is fairly minimal, changing up something like the laces can make a pair of NMD's look entirely different than how they would look out of the box.
Take the Gum pack released recently, each model had fairly standard colors, white, navy, and black; but, the simplicity made the shoe really standout. We swapped the factory laces with a pair of our Black 3M Inverse Rope Laces, and it changed the entire aesthetic of the sneaker.
The nice thing up Inverse laces is you get two colors in one lace, so you can match the upper and lower of most sneakers. There's the illusion of one color from far away, but in reality, the weave pattern is of two colors. It's a trick of the eye, similar to camouflage. But when you put it on a sneaker with a limited color scheme, the laces speak for themselves.
We kept model specificity in mind when we created these rope laces, so we have a 30" option that fits NMDs perfectly. What's unique about Black 3M Inverse pattern is that it goes with most color ways. But we have a full line up of other 3M Inverse Rope Laces to browse. And we have them in most lengths, so you can switch up the laces on a pair of Nike Prestos, adidas Ultra Boosts, Yeezys, and more.
