Valentine's Day ready releases

February 05, 2021

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and there are a number of February releases that seem to have Valentine's Day in mind. Go all in on Valentine's Day this year and make these sneakers your own by adding red or pink laces.

Nike Air Force 1 "Love Letter"

(source: Sneaker News)

The most obviously Valentine's inspired pair are from Nike. The combination of red leather and pink suede is topped off with white heart covered uppers.

Hiding on the tongue is a label/love letter to the Air Force 1. Unsnap the label on one tongue and it reads “True Love Since ’82”, the other shows a pink heart with a Swoosh.

Match the pink suede on these kicks with pink laces to keep the color palette simple.

adidas Ultraboost 21 “Hazy Rose”

(source: Sneaker News)

The new "Hazy Rose" colorway sticks mostly to the same pink tone. With the exception of the hint of yellow on the soles, the rest of the shoe stays pretty much the same.

Stick with the pink theme, but add some dimension with the Pink 3M Reflective Rope Laces that combine pink and grey for some variation.

AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High “Cosmic Fuchsia”

(source: Sneaker News)

These AMBUSH X Nike Dunk High come in a statement making, monochrome fuchsia. Designer Yoon took inspiration from bike, car and truck culture in Japan for this bold design. This includes the exaggerated swoosh, which was inspired by a bike pipe.

Make even more of a Valentine's Day statement with leather laces in red, that match the material on the rest of the shoe, while adding another color to the mix.
